Klinefelter's Syndrome is a common genetic condition that affects men. Usually this occurs as a result of an extra copy of chromosome X in each cellThe effects of Klinefelter syndrome vary from person to person. This causes decreased muscle growth, reduce hair growth on body and face, and breast enlargement (gynecomastia). Most men with this syndrome can’t reproduce (barren).

Cause
Klinefelter syndrome occurs because of a male child inherits an extra sex chromosome from one parent during the formation of an embryo. Because of that child have body and organ deformities. But the boys who have a family history that has not necessarily inherit the disease because the disease is purely genetic errors that occur by chance.

Symptom
Signs and symptoms in affected males of this syndrome vary, some have all the symptoms, there are only a part of it, the symptoms include:
  1. Babies with Klinefelter's syndrome may not show any symptoms at first. But in the process of their growth they experience certain abnormalities such as muscle weakness, or takes longer to crawl, and walk.
  2. Boys and adolescents with Klinefelter syndrome may be taller and have longer legs than other boys. In puberty also slower. When their puberty, they are also less muscular body. and hair growth on face and body a little more. They also may have testes that are smaller and more powerful than other boys. In some cases, low testosterone levels due to this syndrome can cause enlargement of breast tissue (gynecomastia), weak bones and lower energy levels.
  3. In looking child with this syndrome have no striking differences, just that they have on average a higher body. In production, men with this syndrome usually can not be a father (sterile), but there are treatments that can treat it today.


Treatment
To cure or chromosomal changes there is no cure, but some medications and therapies can reduce symptoms and slow the growth of the disease. For example with a bias given testosterone therapy in the form of injections, gels or patches on the skin of the patient. Testosterone therapy will allow the body changes that normally occur at puberty, such as the development of facial and body hair, penis enlargement, and increased muscle mass, then enlargement of breast tissue that can be removed with surgery.
